Tournament Events 2009-10
October 3/4 - Nov 14/15: 38th Annual Women's
State 600 Club Tournament
Every Sat/Sun for 7 weekends. Oct 3/4 & 24/25 have 3 shifts
& all others have 2 shifts.
Entry deadline is Midnight, September 18th, 2009. No reservations by
phone.
Entries available at Capitol Bowl's Reception Desk, from Tournament Secretary,
or on-line.

Game Scratch Tournament
Play Begins at 10am.

December 12 (Saturday): "700" Club Mixed
Doubles
Tournament
6pm Start; Entries Close Thursday, Dec 10th at midnight (late
entries accepted with additional $5 charge);
$30 entry fee per team; Jackpots/Brackets/50-25-25 Raffles!
Open to any "700" Club member in good standing & partnered with any sanctioned
bowler of the opposite sex.
If you want to bowl & can't find a partner...call us and we'll make a match!

January 23/24/30/31: OBA Men's City
Tournament
2pm & 7pm starts on Saturdays and 1pm start on Sundays for Team Event at
Capitol Bowl.

February 6/14/20 & March 6: William & Kay Scarlett
Memorial Scholarship Tournament
7:30pm starts on Saturdays and 12pm start Sunday.

First shift will be at 1:00pm.
A 2nd shift may be added given we reached
capacity in the 2009 tournament!

(Come Support Your Teams!)
Most schools in the conference participate; play begins at
12:30pm and concludes by 6:30pm.

Tournament

Sat (3/6) & Sun 1pm start; Weeknights & Sat (3/13) 6:30pm start for Singles & Doubles Events at

March 13: Heart Area Travel League
(Youth Tournament)
Many bowling centers in our region have youth participating in
this monthly competition. Capitol Bowl
is very proud to be one of the host centers for this event.
Play begins at 2:30pm.

Cola / Gordon Food Service Family Doubles Qualifiers
April 3, 10, 17, 19:
(Youth-Adult Tournament)
Our Youth Director, Penny, is running six qualifying sessions for
our Youth to compete and move on to
the State Finals, held at our facility, on May 1/2/15/16. Categories our
Youth-Parent and Youth-Adult.
Play for these qualifying
events begin at 1:30pm. You may bowl more than once and with multiple
partners.
Ask Penny for the details during your weekly Youth League.
April 11:
4th Annual Thomas J Trecha Memorial Scratch Tournament

Play begins at 12 Noon. Limited
to 96 Bowlers (men & women)
$60 entry fee ($41 prize money, $15 bowling expense, $4 tournament expense)

Finals
Qualifying teams from many bowling centers in Michigan will
compete for scholarships.
Categories our Youth-Parent and Youth-Adult with two age divisions. Shift
times are 12-2pm & 3-5pm
on Saturdays and 12-2pm on Sundays. Bowling Centers are responsible for
entering the qualifying teams.
Results: The Tournament Committee has not yet
announced how many places will receive scholarships, but
here is the finishing order for each category (those with * means still waiting
for average verification).
